The VSM® machines offer considerable potential for resource efficiency. This is shown not only by the high energy-saving potential by vacuuming in atmospheric air without a chamber and without shrink or drying tunnels. Low material use with regard to bag size or film thickness when compared to alternative packaging systems may also be considered benefits of the VSM® system. We look towards optimum performance, with low energy-consumption, which is shown by, among other things, the efficient stainless steel design, as well as the use of energy-saving motors and vacuum pumps with the lowest possible kW figures.
A key role is played in our contract manufacturing by sustainable principles, for instance the recycling of chips. In addition, we also work, whenever possible, with regional suppliers and plan our delivery routes to keep the transportation distances as short as possible and our CO2 footprint as small as possible.
The newly built company building in Sheridan Park was built according to low-energy standards. An electronic folder system and other measures are helping us to achieve a "paper-free office".

CEO Bernd Mayer is the deputy chair of the examination board for the journeyman's examination in the Metall Bayern association and a member of the board of Innung Metall Augsburg.
